RVT/VTS clinical practice (Canine&Feline)
Born with an innate passion for animals and a curiosity for biology, Tamra started her career in the veterinary industry as a teenager in 2006. In 2011 she graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Olds College and has since dedicated her career to being a voice for the voiceless, our fuzzy (or not) family members. Tamra adores every aspect of being a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT), from the very first exam to helping an old friend pass with dignity and everything in between.
With years of experience, multiple advanced certifications under her belt and a drive to always be learning, Tamra is currently the only Veterinary Technician Specialist in Clinical Practice (canine and feline) in Alberta. With her goal being to provide the gold standard of care to her patients, educating their owners about meeting their pets’ needs and developing a relationship with both client and patient to last a lifetime (or 2 or 3).
Tamra enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters. She also enjoys gardening, art, reading, movies, video games and being a bit of a nerd. At home she has a miniature aussie, a pitbull, 2 cats, a snake, a chinchilla and a plethora of aquatic life, all of which keep her plenty busy.
